Snoop admits to having Ghost Writers
February 28, 2008

Snoop said in his latest XXL interview:
Back to the album. Initially, there weren’t supposed to be any guest artists on Ego Trippin’. Why the switch?
It just happened. That might be me ego-tripping. The real ego-tripping on this record is that I let people write songs for me. Singing songs? Rapping songs?
Everything.
Have you run out of things to say yourself?
Nah. I’m ego-tripping. I was watching Diana Ross getting inducted into a Hall of Fame, and she got up there and named all these great songwriters. Her biggest songs were written by somebody else. So I’m thinking, Wow, there’s nothing wrong with my pen, but I’m going to let other people write for me.
How crazy is it that snoop acted like this is his first time…. Snoop has used ghost writers or better yet used tracks already written to before. ALL your favorite rappers have tho, dont get it twisted. Personally, if its hot, its hot. PERIOD… i provide you with proof.

R.I.P. Static Major
February 28, 2008
One thing none of us can escape is death. Neither your net worth nor your celebrity can save you from what all of us will eventually face. On Monday, February 25th 2008, Static Major, 1/3 of the group Playa, died of unknown causes.
Part of the group Playa, he penned most of the songs on their debut album titled “Cheers to You” an album I’ve bought three times (i seem to lose more albums than i can find). He also penned Ginuine’s breakout single “Pony” and has worked with greats such as Jay Z, Nas, Aaliyah, Tank, and many more. Most recently though, he worked with Lil Wayne, as his new single titled “I Got M” featured Weezy.
He will be missed, and forever remembered as the great writer he was. Check out his myspace for more credits, and while you’re there leave your love. R.I.P. Playa….

The President of Swagg
February 26, 2008
All The Hunnies love him…
Mr. Talented, J Doe, The President of Swagg, should’ve been in the game a long time ago, wait….. he’s been in the game since ‘a long time ago.’ In a game where one hit wonders just “pop up” and go pop, it take real artists more time than a little to get their just due. Paying due’s is what its called and J Doe has done just that.
From the school marching band, to talent shows, from the keys (for once we mean piano keys… refreshingly) to the mic, J Doe has been involved in music for a long time. Having paid his dues, his investment has finally paid off, but, he still has more to do, more progress to make, that in iteself ensures him a future in this music biz…. I introduce to you J Doe…. but i’ll let him formally introduce himself… check it out.
Thunder Clap on my Thunder Cat… J Doe video shoot.
February 24, 2008
Thunder clap, on my thunder cat… and unforgetable hook, so damn catchy, i caught myself singing it all the way home from the video shoot. A tiring day for some, but an eventful day for all. I had my fair share of fun and womens (i mean to say womens with the “s”), cameo’s and food, cant go wrong with food and women, EVER! Saw a few familiar faces, and some faces didnt matter lol (dont ask me what i was looking at…) Either way leave it up to J Doe to make sure everyone is entertained. Im confident you will be too….
This weekends game vs Montreal
February 24, 2008
Yo yo yo! Its ya boy CB. Its been a few days since I talked to yall.
Well aint shit changed, Im still up here in Quebec City Canada freezing my ass off. But whats crazy is I actually like it here. Although its cold as hell the city is nice and the people are friendly. And its perfectly safe here. Quebec City has like one of the lowest crime rates of any city in the world. I was told in 2007 there were no murders.
Thats pretty damn good with me being from Inglewood where bodies get picked up more than the morning paper. QC is definitely one of those towns you always hear about where people say you can leave your door unlocked and you will find your place exactly how you left it. Where im from you will come back and find a whole new family living in your shit, just lounging. But anyway as far as hoops go, we finally played a game after practicing hard all week. I also managed to find the fitness center for extra cardio and weights with my teammate Tim Jennings (Conway, South Carolina;Gardner Webb University), he definitely goes hard just like I do. Yesterday we played the Montreal Royals. They were just a decent team just like any other ABA team or any other minor league bball team if you ask me. This team had some fake ass Los Angeles Clipper looking uniforms which is the first thing I noticed about them.
We ended up beating them by like 5 points, don’t ask me the score because for some reason I never take the time to remember it. The game started off tight, trading baskets back and forth pretty much staying tied up.
We managed to build up a 13 point league by the middle of the second quarter and please dont ask how we were down at the half by 1. We pretty much played a tight game to the wire. With less than a minute left we were tied and I managed to put back in a miss layup for the lead, they came down and my man Tim Jennings forced a turnover, we inbounded to me they fouled, and I knocked down the free throws to seal the deal. I finished the night with 16 points 10 rebounds 6 blocks 3 assist and 1 steal. I shot 8 for 8 from the free throw line, yeah ya boy don’t miss them free throws. In all I am pleased with my performance hopefully this shit gives me a damn job in Europe next year thats worth taking. I am tired of these people dwelling on my stats in college which weren’t that good. But hey I played behind a pro for 2 years there and I had to play a role in a system.
So it hasn’t been only till recently I have been able to display my talents. I don’t know what exactly playing in Quebec City will open up for me as far as next season but I damn for sure is through with minor league ball especially the NBA D League. Which is a league filled with favors this guy is playing because his agent is blah blah blah, then this guy is playing because he went to The University of I could give a damn and this guys is playin because he averaged the world in college and is a “local guy” who will bring more fans. I am truly done with the political bullshit of these leagues. At least if I am going to be involved in it I might as well cross the water, see new places, and get paid way more for doing it. But anyway my peoples I am about to relax and I will holler at yall TCJ junkies tomorrow.
Peaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace.
