Kanye’s Love Lockdown cover and album title/release date | and Jay-z’s? Swagger Like Us Cover

Thanks to Candy for the Yeezy cover to his latest gift, “Love Lockdown” which was performed at the 2008 MTV VMA’s Sunday night, and dropped Monday (supposedly, i have yet to check as i have yet to figure out if like the song yet). But all in all i give you the single cover art. This is his first single off his forthcoming album titled 808’s and Heartbreak. We all thought the next album was going to be in the same vein as the previous albums (the schooling/life theme) and be titled Good Ass Job, but then again i did hear that the name was scrapped by the label). The album’s release date is now set as Dec. 16th.

As for Swagger like us, im not sure how i feel about that. I do recall that being T.I.’s single. I guess he decided to share it with Jay. Seems like cheating to me, like playing hide and go seek and you’re it, but you count with your eyes half open. Either way, good music. Im anticipating Jay’s album, T.I.’s and Ye’s. Hiphop is alive and well.
