The Game goes in on Jay-Z | Jay replies? | Hiphop Beef is played!

July 8, 2009

gamejimjonesbq6 Well not long after i gave Game his props for showing maturity in his apology to Dre and Fif, he goes in on Jay for no apparent reason. On the low he’s been taking shots at Jay but now its out in the open. This is nothing new to me, nothing new to Hiphop, and should be nothing new to you either. Game seems to ALWAYS make one step forward and then take one step back (maybe two steps back in this case). Showing growth and then reverting back to the same ol Game we recognize him to be. I dont understand why he has had issue with Jay but then i really dont too much care. You should already know where i stand as far as rap beef is concerned. Beef is tired, boring, lame, stupid, as well as an old marketing tactic to create buzz, and i promise when i see beef coming i turn my head and walk in the opposite direction. I really shouldnt be paying any mind to this beef, as if ignoring it would make it go away lol, (if we all ignored it maybe it would) but the people love drama as we can see from daytime soaps and reality TV, if you ask me rap beef is no different than an episode of “Days of our lives.” SMH….

The Game goes in:

and Jay replies… (on not only The Game but Jaz-0 and Dame Dash too)

Everybody’s apologizing | The Game Apologizes to 50 Cent and Dr. Dre

July 3, 2009

I love it when hiphop matures!! I’ve watched as Mr. Taylor has struggled with his personal issues, one moment showing maturity and other moments giving in to his pride. This is one of those moments that i feel proud of him. No doubt about it, he’s human, and entitled to mistakes but this is a shining moment, hopefully a moment that overshadows the lesser moments.PEOPLE THE GAME

And this comes soon after Jim Jones apologized to Mase. I love hiphop right now! Jay-Z deads Auto Tune over a No I.D. beat, and Jimmy and Jayceon apologize.

Drake – Best I Ever Had | Video | Talks working with Kanye the video director

July 1, 2009

drake-rapperSo Kanye has his video director hat on, directing Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” in a fashion that looks somewhat…. porn-ish lol. (Drake talks the filming over at MTV.com) Its all good tho, this video is a long time coming. So with Drake having signed to Young Money/Cash Money, and with a video directed by Mr.West himself, id say Drake is doing pretty well for a guy who hasn’t even released and album yet. Three official mixtapes in and dude is the most anticipated artist of 2009. Well, nuff said, this video doesn’t need much of an introduction, check it out:

Good Ol Joe Jackson | Pimpin his son yet again? | Never trust a man with a drawn on mustache

June 30, 2009

“This is Bad real bad Michael Jackson// now im mad real mad Joe Jackson” – Kanye West

Joe Jackson Joe Jackson is laughing all the way to the bank apparently. Laughing doesnt exactly seem like the right thing to do right now, seeing as how he lost a son recently. The son he lost was his bread winner, and he continues to use Michael Jackson to benefit only himself. After his red carpet appearance at the BET Awards with Al Sharpton, he decides to have a press conference announcing his new label, with, yet again, Al Sharpton. Big Perm, shouldnt you be out somewhere fighting for justice? Well how about you step up right now and speak on fathers who use the death of their son’s to advance their own agendas. Sad! I was told you never trust a man without a mustache, but in Joe Jackson’s case never trust a man with a drawn on mustache. (Joe has a drawn on face, eyebrows and all…)
