What Was Ashanti Thinking?

No, this is not a rhetorical question. I really want to know WHAT WAS SHE THINKING? Initially when I saw this picture, I thought she went to a concert in honor of the Rocky Horror Picture, and decided to dress the theme. But there are two things wrong with this scenario: 1) If you go to a costume party, usually the performer isn’t on stage in the wackiest costume; and 2) No one else at the Heineken Red Star Soul Concert came in costume. As a matter of fact, all the other “no name” performers who attended and/or performed at the event looked ten times better than Ashanti. You would think the platinum selling artist would try to led by example, but no she brought the wack tackiness. *shrugs* This one outfit erased all the progress of her hotness in the last months.
A word to Ashanti, I know a lot of people think you’re style is plain, but being that works for you, so stick to it. You are not Rihanna, or some Pussy Cat Doll, so don’t even try to step into those Giambattista’s…
