Drake Signs With Young Money imprint

drake-paul-front2Today it has been confirmed that after rumored talks with RocNation, and Atlantic, that Drake has signed with Young Money. It doesnt surprise me at all that he signed with them, im sure it doesnt surprise you either. And coming a day after the awards is even less surprising. Definitely planned timing.

The deal is a joint venture between Young Money and Cash Money, both distrubted through Universal Republic. You know Baby (Birdman) has to have his hand in everything. Onsmash.com reports:

Drake’s management was adamant that he should be viewed as an independent artist, although Universal will distribute the project.

“Today is a definitely a comfortable day for me, having my team now that’s been in place for a couple of years. It’s just a great day,” Drake said. “It’s something new, but it feels familiar.”

Drizzy is excited about having a corporate push to help with the momentum he’s gained independently.

“Independent is a funny term,” he told MTV News on the set of his video for “Best I Ever Had.” “I can go independent, but you need distribution, period. You need somebody to distribute your record and you need that army that a label has to really push the record.”

Drake will be raped for his publishing and everything else. he fucked himself. he could have constructed his own deal for his self where he had it all. he had the undustry by the balls because everyone wanted to sign him. smh. now baby is gonna do him with no vaseline. signing with someone is not the way to go he should have got an independent deal through all things fresh(his own company) and signed himself. that would have been more of a power move. drake doesnt even look right with young money. but im sure the tatoos and platinum grills are prolly on the way for drake and also the syrup sippin and pill poppin smh
