Jay-Z at it again, never the one shy of a business deal, Mr. Carter (not the lil one) is in the works to sign a new deal to expand his Roc Nation and have it distrubuted by Song/Epic:
Jay-Z is reportedly close to signing a deal with Sony with that will see him distribute all new material via the company’s Epic leg.
The rapper last week announced his departure from Def Jam, a move that cost him $5 million in order to retain control of future master recordings, reports Reuters.The deal with Sony is “95% complete”, and the deal is expected to be confirmed within weeks.
Last year, he signed a $150 million deal with Live Nation that included touring, publishing and albums.
Jay-Z’s new album ‘The Blueprint 3’ is expected to be the first album on his Roc Nation imprint to be distributed by Sony/Epic.

And while thats on the drawling board, Kanyeezy is talking Blueprint 3.
Super producer, Kanye West recently spoke on the making of Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 and promises fans the album will be “amazing”.
“He’s just been working on it, and it’s gonna be amazing when he drops it.”, West says. “I think it’s good he’s taking his time to give people the best product possible and not being rushed by this fast-food, media-outlet, Internet, everything-is-getting-leaked, people-stealing your-songs-before-you-can-mix-them-and-put-them-online world we’re living in right now.”
Earlier reports had said that there had been a delay with release BP3 , because they wanted to make changes regarding the use of Auto-Tune.“We actually removed all the songs with Auto-Tune off of his album”, Kanye said, “to make the point that this is an anti-Auto-Tune album, even though I released an album that has all Auto-Tune!”

Glad to hear Yeezy back spittin, even though he does his auto tune thing on the hook. This sounds like the Kanye i was expecting. Hopefull this leads to another hot album. Check out this one minute clip of his performance at T.I.’s myspace concert in L.A.

Kanye West & Comedy Central Link Up For Hip Hop Puppet Show

Kanye West has reportedly teamed up with Comedy Central to create a hip hop themed puppet show.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show is expected to launch in
2009 and will feature music by Kanye West and fellow Chicago rapper Rhymefest.
Kanye West will host the show’s pilot and following episodes will be hosted by various celebrities. Producers from the network’s popular show Crank Yankers will also be involved in the show.
In related news, Kanye will be releasing his fourth solo album titled 808s & Heartbreak on December 16th. The rapper will be releasing the video for the set’s first single, “Love Lockdown”, in the coming weeks.

Fif (50 Cent) Clowns Kanye’s new single | My thoughts on the auto tune issue

Good ol Fif made jest of Yeezy on stage in Albany, and it was quite entertaining. I wonder how Ye’ is going to feel about this, and if he will respond. 50 goes as far as saying quite f$*king with me and see what happens” as if to say when the people stopped supporting 50 Cent thats what they can expect from the music world.
Im just bothered that everyone is doing auto tuned songs now. I thought of that idea years ago, just never did it. Only people got a pass to use it (in my opinion) T-Pain and DJ Quik (he actually uses the old school vocoder/talkb box, as he learned from the great Roger). I only say T-Pain cuz he found his niche and that lead him to his own sound. The rest of these cats, just biting far as im concerned.
