Too Much Information

I am on information overload.  I try to stay informed being a writer and all, but wow.  I need to know how much information is too much information.  I mean, we are all intrigued and want to know what’s going on with our favorite public figures, but seriously, where do we draw the line.  It really made me start thinking about this as I was watching T.V. last night.  There was this story about a rumor concerning guy that allegedly claims to have secretly videotaped Madonna and A-Rod allegedly having sex and is now shopping it to the highest bidder.  You can check it out here

Okay, now I understand that the paparazzi are trying earn a living and I respect their hustle.  All I am saying is that whether this guy is telling the truth or not, it is really not cool to secretly video tape celebrities like that.  It is bad enough how they yell at celebrities to get a shot, but planting cameras is just giving too much information right there.  I can’t even blame someone in that industry for having a nervous breakdown living like this.  I would hate to be a celebrity.  You have a talent and a dream and all of a sudden you are where you always dreamed of being.  On one hand, you get to live out your dream of becoming a star and making lots of money and all that comes with it.  But you also get no sympathy either.  You have no privacy when you are a celebrity and no one is sympathetic to them one bit.  Why?  Because most would say they make all of the money and party around while the rest of us work, or some might say “hey, they wanted to be a star” as if it was the equivalent of shaking hands with the devil and that they are getting what they deserved.   Yeah, they have money, fame, and this was a choice they made, but they are still human.

What next…
